The new sea wall has been designed in accordance with the planning consent to provide a measure of flood defence. In the event of fluvial or tidal flooding the tidal and fluvial water will drain through the porous paving to the outfall in a similar manner to that adopted for rainwater.

 

Please advise if this is adequate to answer the query, our engineer is more than happy to discuss directly with your engineer if needs be.
